ALAN DARGIN with MICHAEL ATHERTON - Going to Town [BLOODWOOD: THE ART OF
       THE DIDGERIDU/Natural Symphonies]
CAPERCAILLIE - Mo Chailin Dileas Donn [NADURRA/Survival]

JOHN HIATT - Only the Song Survives [CROSSING MUDDY WATERS/Vanguard]
FLACO JIMENEZ - I Found Out [SLEEPYTOWN/Back Porch]
JEFF TWEEDY - At My Window Sad and Lonely [MERMAID AVENUE BONUS EP/Elektra]
BILLY BRAGG - Against th' Law ['TIL WE OUTNUBMBER 'EM/Righteous Babe]

BALFA TOUJOURS - La Chandelle est Allumée [LIVE AT WHISKEY RIVER
       LANDING/Rounder]
CHRIS ARDOIN & DOUBLE CLUTCHIN' - Lyin' Tryin' and Cryin'
       [BEST KEPT SECRET/Rounder]
It's such a shame, in my opinion, that this descendent of
Amédée Ardoin and Bois-Sec Ardoin doesn't sing
a single word of French on this record. Although he plays well
and I'm sure it'd be fun in the dancehall, he and most of his
young peers have lost what I see as the heart and roots of zydeco --
Creole traditional music, in French. *sigh*
CHARIVARI - Je m'ennuie à soir (I'm Lonely Tonight)
[I WANT TO DANCE WITH YOU/Rounder]
BEAU JOCQUE & THE ZYDECO HI-ROLLERS - Beau Jocque Boogie
       [GIVE HIM CORNBREAD, LIVE!/Rounder]

SCOTT DUNBAR - Memphis Mail [FROM LAKE MARY/Fat Possum]
CANNON'S JUG STOMPERS - Bring It With You When You Come [RUCKUS JUICE
       & CHITLINS, VOL. 2/Yazoo]
LOUIS ARMSTRONG & THE HOT FIVES - Heebie Jeebies [THE HOT FIVES,
       VOL. 1/Columbia]
Quite possibly the greatest conglomeration of musicians in the
history of jazz -- Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, Johnny Dodds,
       Johnny St. Cyr

LLAN DE CUBEL - Cabraliega [LLAN DU CUBEL IV/Fono Astur]
MATTO CONGRIO - Matt Molloy's Muñiera [MATTO CONGRIO/Lyricon]

AUBREY HAYNIE with TIM O'BRIEN - The Butcher Boy [A MAN MUST CARRY ON/
       Sugar Hill]
TOM, BRAD & ALICE - When Sorrows Encompass Me Round [BEEN THERE STILL/
       Copper Creek]
That's Tom Sauber, Brad Leftwich and Alice Gerrard, of course.
A Primitive Baptist hymn learned from the singing of Tommy
       Jarrell.
DAVID DOUCET - Bee de la Manche [QUAND J'AI PARTI/Rounder]
MAC BENFORD & THE WOODSHED ALL-STARS - Kiss Me Quick and Go

       Gravel Walks (reels) [FIDDLESTICKS/Nimbus]
NOLLAIG CASEY & ARTY McGLYNN - Jack Palance's Reel [CAUSEWAY/Tara]

Fraher's (jigs) [RABHARTA CEOIL (IN FULL SPATE)/Gael-Linn]

JOHNNY BUSH - Time Changes Everything [SINGS BOB WILLS/Lone Star]
RED MEAT - Highway of Heartaches [MEET RED MEAT/Ranchero]
GRAM PARSONS & THE FALLEN ANGELS - Six Days on the Road [LIVE 1973/Sierra]
