This is a close approximation, so anyone with a bouzouki can fill in that part. E----------------------------------------------- B---3-0-------3-0h2p0---0---3-0----------------- G-2-2-2---0h2-2-------2---2-2-2---0------------- h = hammer-on D-0-----0-----0-----------0-----0---4-0-----0--- p = pull-off A---------------------------------------0h2---2- E----------------------------------------------- E----------------------------------- B---3-0-------3-0h2p0---0---3-0----- G-2-2-2---0h2-2-------2---2-2-2---0- D-0-----0-----0-----------0-----0--- A----------------------------------- E----------------------------------- This memory of a miner, Dragged himself to work. Worked himself to death, Workin for someone else. CHORUS: Em G A We follow each other around, G ->main riff On shaky ground. His life had become to him, Worthless in many ways. An expired product off the shelf, Workin' for someone else. CHORUS The nature of his work, Gave him minstrel(?) color. For 20 hours a day, Little time he had for others. CHORUS Then the break: D(I think) Never got to see the world, ---> B-3-2-0--------------- Played on the bouzouki He got a funeral, G-0-0-2--------------- but this sorta works. D This miner song, Play twice. ---> Then again There is no right or wrong. Now it's down to the wire, Facin' six feet under. Can only wonder and stare, His name was a number. -- The best way to get this is to listen to the record while you figure it out. You'll also realize how much an approximation the whole thing is, and it's even possible that the guitar is tuned differently (open G or D). Any suggestions/corrections are welcome and encouraged.
